1 cup jada poha (thick crushed rice flakes)

1 tsp sugar

2 pinch turmeric powder (haldi)

2 pinch crimson chilli powder


1 tsp mustard seeds (rai/sarson)

2 tsp sesame seeds (til)

2 pinch asafoetida (hing)

1 tsp oil

OTHER Components

2 tsp oil for cooking

1/4 tsp salt

You could know what Handwa is. You might've experienced a Handwa someday.

But handwa built of crushed rice! It is unique. Let's examine out the components.

Thick overwhelmed rice flakes, these have been dipped in buttermilk for 15-20 minutes in curd and sieved.
